basic
The Basic Protection is bundled with your rental rate, and contains a renters’ liability up to DKK 10.000 per damage. The deposit amount is DKK 13.000 when the Basic Insurance is selected.
medium
Add in our Medium Protection for enhanced protection at an affordable price. For just DKK 150 per day, lower your renters’ liability to DKK 3.000 per damage. With a reduced deposit of DKK 6.000, you can drive confidently knowing you’re covered against unexpected mishaps.
premium
For those seeking comprehensive coverage, our Premium Protection offers enhanced peace of mind. Enjoy the security of zero renters’ liability for DKK 250 per day, protecting you against unexpected incidents. The deposit amount for the Premium Protection is a modest fee of DKK 3.000, enough to cover potential surcharges such as toll roads & fuel charges.
Glass & tyre
Reach complete peace of mind with our Tyre & Glass Protection, available at DKK 75 per day. Safeguard yourself against the inconvenience of tyre punctures and glass damage during your rental period.
Damages that are not covered by any insurance or protection
Damage caused by driving on rough roads to the vehicle’s transmission, drive, other parts that are in or attached to the chassis; damage to the chassis resulting from scraping the bottom on rough roads.
Damages caused by driving in or across rivers or any kind of waterways. Such driving is totally the responsibility of the renter.
Damages to the rented vehicle caused by driving rental cars on roads or tracks with no road number and/or off-road driving, for example, on paths and tracks, on beaches, or in other trackless areas.
Damage done by animals.
Towing cost and vehicle replacement.
Damage to suspension and batteries.
Glass & Tyre damages are only covered if the Glass & Tyre protection is selected prior to rental start.
Holes burned into seats, carpets, or mats.
Damage resulting from the driver being under the influence of alcohol, stimulants, or sedatives, or in any other way incapable of driving the vehicle in a safe manner.
Theft or damage as a result of the authorized driver’s/renter’s lack of reasonable care in protecting the rental vehicle (for example, leaving the keys inside the vehicle, or leaving the vehicle running and unattended).
Charges that are not covered by any insurance or protection
Charges applied when incorrect fuel has been added to the rented vehicles fuel tank, workshop hours and any damages to the vehicle’s mechanism.
Towing cost and vehicle replacement related to breakdown or damage which is the driver’s responsibility.
Towing cost and/or vehicle replacement if the renter/driver of the car runs out of fuel or electricity.
Fees and service charges resulting from the renter’s use of the car, such as parking charges and road-tolls as well as parking fines and fines resulting from violating traffic laws.
Fees and replacement cost for lost car keys and extra equipment.
Cleaning fee for smoking inside the vehicle.
Cleaning fee if a vehicle is returned excessively dirty.
