An all-around group experience
This is the package for the first time visitor to the Faroe Islands, for both smaller and larger groups. It is a program with a local guide showing the group around the rich natural and cultural sights providing a real insight into the Faroese community. The tour will take the group around the islands reachable by car and spend the nights in three different hotels. This tour is an opportunity to get to know and perhaps fall in love with the Faroe Islands.
Program
Day 1
Arrival at Vágar airport and initial information meeting. Sightseeing on the island Vágoy. Spend the night at Hotel Vágar.
Day 2
Boat trip to the magnificent Vestmanna birdcliffs. Sighseeing on the islands Streymoy and Eysturoy, the two biggest islands of the country. Spend the two next nights at hotel Gjáargarður or at Hotel Klaksvík in Klaksvík.
Day 3
Sightseeing on the northern islands Borðoy and Kunoy known for their high mountains amongst other things. Here you experience the the second largest city of the Faroe Islands - Klaksvík, as well as tiny little traditional villages.
Day 4
Sightseeing on Eysturoy and Streymoy. Amongst other things, the group will get to see the villages Eiði, Tjørnuvík and Saksun, and also the old whaling station at Áir. This day’s journey ends in the capital Tórshavn where the group will spend the night at a 3 star hotel in the city center.
Day 5
You will be guided around the many sights of exciting Tórshavn as well as to the nearby old village Kirkjubøur, which holds some of the oldest buildings in the country. Afternoon at own disposal. Spend the last night in Tórshavn
Day 6
The group will return to the airport and hopefully enjoy the flight home.
