A variation of the Faroe Islands

If the group prefers nature and a variation of activities, the Faroe Islands are the perfect destination. The unspoiled environment creates a desire to explore the islands and we at 62°N are delighted to arrange a planned package for the group. We will combine different form of activities into this package, ensuring an uncomplicated journey and a exciting experience. 

Program

Day 1

Arrival at Vágar Airport where a bus will wait for the participants and drive directly to the hotel in Tórshavn. Settle in at the hotel and enjoy the city on your own for the rest of the day.

Dag 2

At noon, the group will go by bus to Vestmanna from where a boat tour to the magnificent Vestmanna bird cliffs will be experienced. On the tour, back to Tórshavn the group will stop at the ancient Viking settlements in Kvívík.

Dag 3

Guided tour to the top of Slættaratindur, the highest mountain in the Faroe Islands - located in the northern part of Eysturoy, between the villages of Gjógv, Eiði and Funningur. If the sky is clear the group will have a fabulous view to most of the Faroe Islands and fjords.

Dag 4

Early morning the group will go on a guided tour in Tórshavn and the historical village Kirkjubøur, where hot drinks and pastries will be served in the atmospheric Roykstovan. Rest of the day the group will have rich opportunity to explore historical and cultural sights in Tórshavn on their own. We recommed a visit at the National Art Gallery, The Nordic House and the National Historical museum.

Dag 5

Full day tour to the northern islands, a cluster of small islands characterized by steep mountains rising from the sea. Stunning views of the islands Fugloy, Svínoy, Borðoy, Kalsoy and Kunoy.

Day 6

The tour has come to an end and a bus will take the group safely to the airport for the flight home.
