Enjoy this whole day guided tour to three of the most beautiful villages, the biggest waterfall and some of the best viewpoints the Faroe Islands has to offer. Between every village is a photo stop or two and there will be plenty of time to walk around by your own or accompanied by the tour guide. Food & Beverages served throughout.

What to expect:

You will be greeted by the tour guide and driver in the morning, at the hotel or designated point. Now it’s just to sit down, relax and listen to the stories from the guide while we drive out from Tórshavn. First village we will visit is called Saksun. Here you can walk around freely, take pictures and enjoy the astounding beauty that surrounds the village. Next village is Called Tjørnuvík, and is famous for it’s good view at the “witch and the Giant” rocks that are standing tall in the ocean. From Tjørnuvík to the village Gjógv we will make a stop by the waterfall Fossá, which is considered the biggest waterfall in the Faroes. Arriving at Gjógv, which means gorge, its time for a lunch and something to drink. Eating the lunch by the huge gorge is something very special and enjoyable. After walking around in the village and out to the end of the gorge, the journey takes us to a place called Eiđisskarđ and from there you can see the “witch and the giant” even better. On the way back home, the driver takes the old mountain road to Tórshavn, were you will see the only prison of the Faroe Islands and the incredible view from Norđradalsskarđ to the island Koltur. Arriving back in Tórshavn, you will be dropped of right at your hotel or designated drop-off point.
