The boat departs from the small boat marina of Sørvágur. Sailing out through the fiord you sail close by the beautiful village Bøur. The setting with the sandy beach, the turf roofed houses, the church and the view is like no other.
Along the northern shore of the fiord you observe interesting basalt rock formations. A dramatic geologic history unfolds as you learn about an ancient vulcano embedded in the coastal rock.
Following the varied seashore you continue to the famous Múlafossur waterfall. From the boat the waterfall and the surrounding gorges and grottoes make for unique photo opportunities.
