Afternoon Excursion to Vágar
Múlafossur, Bøur, WW2 museum
The tour includes transportation from your hotel, ensuring a comfortable journey from early afternoon until the evening. One of the highlights is a visit to Múlafossur, a breathtaking waterfall near the village of Gásadalur, where water cascades dramatically into the ocean, offering stunning views. The itinerary also features a relaxing coffee break at Fjósinum in Bø, a cosy café where guests can enjoy coffee, tea, and cake. From both villages, Bøur and Gásadalur, there is a breathtaking view of Sørvágur Fjord, featuring the dramatic Drangarnir sea stacks, the distinctive islet of Tindhólmur, and the remote island of Mykines in the background.
Additionally, the trip includes entrance to the War Museum (Krígssavnið), which provides an insightful look into Faroese history during World War II and describes the impact the war had on Faroese society.
