Incentives

An incentive travel – or a company travel, if you will – is a trip offered by a company to its employees as a reward for their performance.

Often, the incentive travel is organized for the company’s top-performing employees, but it can also be organized for the whole company as a reward for team effort in reaching the company’s goals.

The idea behind the incentive travel is to motivate the employees, boost their performance and to nurture a positive company culture.

Incentive travel is seen as a greater motivator than cash or merchandise rewards, as it appeals to the employees’ feelings, which makes it more meaningful and memorable.

The incentive travel should be so unique that the employees would not be able to book such a travel on their own.

At 62°N, we offer tailored incentive trips to the Faroe Islands based on your company’s goals, wishes and interests.

Why You Should Choose the Faroe Islands

  1. First, it is still a quite unknown country, where relatively few people have been. This makes it unique.
  2. Second, the Faroe Islands have that perfect tranquility, which you only find in small societies where nature prevails. The employees will get in touch with their inner selves and bond with each other on a different and more meaningful level.
  3. Third, it is the perfect place for exciting outdoor activities, marvelous dining, and extraordinary cultural experiences, which you will find nowhere else.

Client Feedback from November 2022

We had an absolutely amazing Team Tour and have received so many impressions of your beautiful country – you get completely blown away by the wild and beautiful nature.

A really good program and agreements you have organized for us, really really good!

We have been discussing forth and back ‘what was the best experience’ – because it is difficult for everyone to choose only one or two things, and everything just fit perfectly together. Amazing guide! Ann took care of us so well and had so many stories about everything we saw – and that was absolutely perfect for the group.

The concept of visiting local farmers in their surroundings, ByOlafsdottir for example – very cozy and good, and very authentic, I must say, and the same goes for Kirkjubøargarður – very friendly hosts with a throughout amazing dinner. The perfect place to listen to Guðrið Hansdóttir perform – the Faroese songs in these surroundings was a huge experience for everyone.

A fully amazing trip and a very well-planned program with suitable amount of air so we also had time to properly enjoy it.

Sunday, of course, became rather compact due to the postponement of the boat tour, but we managed and it was very nice as well. Our stop in beautiful Bøur was a bit too short and the lunch in the warehouse there too fast. We felt sorry for Helga because it was very cozy there and the food delicious.

Thank you so much for the help, and please give our warmest greetings to Ann.
