Mykines Puffin Paradise guided tour

Our local guide will met you at the harbour, and he will lead you through the old and historic village also called Mykines, which shows how people have survived in very harsh nature and surroundings. A tour to remember! 

The tour is suitable for people of all ages, and the puffins are everywhere, even around the village, making it possible for everyone to experience one of the cutest creatures of the Faroe Islands. There are a lot of other bird sorts as well including guillemots, black guillemots, fulmars, and gannets (Sula bassana) who only breed on Mykines in the Faroe Islands. 

The islands Mykines is volcanic of origin and the westernmost of the 18 islands. The population is around 15 people and is accessible by ferry and helicopter in the summer, and only helicopter in the winter.
